Original version of famous Uriah Heep’s song with lyrics
A Tribute to David Byron

If you’re looking for a place you can fly together
And you’re really afraid of what you’re leaving behind
Take the easiest road but take care my brother
For you’ll never find peace with a troubled mind

Far better to love each other
Than to worry so deeply ’bout the place you’re in
And far better to kiss her softly
Than looking back on a love
You’ll never have again

Time’s as fickle as the sky in winter
And two hearts always were better than one
And love has the wings of a tireless angel
She’ll stay beside you till the day is done

La la la la, La la la la

Far better to love each other
Than to worry so deeply ’bout the place you’re in
And far better to kiss her softly
Than looking back on a love

You’ll never have again
You’ll never have again
No no no no never again
You’ll never have again

Donny & Marie Osmond singing On The Shelf from the Ohio State Fair 1979

Apparently someone doesn’t know what “stunning” is. Marie does NOT look stunning here at all. She looks like a damn dyke in this video. And the reason you’re finding her so delectable is more than likely due to the fact that you’re a damn dyke yourself. You grubby little bushwhacker!

YesDoyle
Seems like they spent some time collaborating with professionals to get Marie’s look just right. She’s stunning here and the polish she shows reflects the many hours of rehearsal, training and hair/makeup sessions. She really looks like a professional model here. Even the way she moves her hands when dancing show lessons in grace. Kudos to the Osmonds. We love(d) ya.

This was one of their greatest songs. I have no clue why Marie refuses to blend with Donny. This song came out just on the heels of the beginning disco era.
I really want to buy this song. I also would love to hear a remix of it.

JMAR5
This is one of their better hits. I really enjoyed their sound on Goin’ Coconuts. It would be nice to see it released on CD. Perhaps Polydor will consider?

Ankreaiton
This brought back MEMORIES! Disco era, their first movie made in Hawaii! Donny got married in Hawaii! OMG! I even had a chance to get Marie, Merrill, Jimmy and mother Osmonds autograph in a little shop in Waikiki Beach! What a legend family! God Bless them always and their success! KUDOS to the Osmonds!

Typical Uk style tv-item about the 2 heartthrobbs.

JuletJulet
This was alot of fun to watch! I was 11 in 72 so both these guys were heart throbs! I wish the best to both of them in 2007 and more!!

cutekaz, I say we find her, and beat the shit out of her and knock the outdated green eyeshadow off her face!

RGraw
OOPS…..I’m RGRAW’s mom, I didn’t know his name would show up. I’m a child of the 60’s & 70’s. Boy, I hope he never sees this. But I still love Donny & David. Some things never change, like me and the computer age. OUCH!

KnightoftheSky : Fair enough. Still a great song though.

phantommyangel : I’ll agree with you that Donny Osmond is wonderful in this song. But the others are right - it’s definitely not Emma Watson.

candybabe32: L O V E I T ! ! ! !

pamsy1961: That is so NOT Emma Watson.

swimsweetie401: This was the best part of the whole show. Donny has an amazing voice!

Original version of famous Shoking Blue’s song with lyrics
A Tribute to Mariska Veres, Divine Singer

Be careful girls for Mighty Joe, Be careful
He takes you all that you don’t know
He made you cry before it’s true
And I’ll let you like it too

Did you hear about Mighty Joe
Did you hear about Mighty Joe
Beware, beware When he is around
Mighty Joe with the bass voice

Well Mighty Joe was here
Last year I’ll tell ya
Just like you I had no fear
I fell for him baby and then
He made me a woman

Sweet sweet sweet thing
I love ya ooo and I love ya
I love ya so bad ooo yeah
He took my heart and then since he did
I swear he ain’t got no sense
Well I said yeah he’s come to town
I warned you he will let you down

you ask how much I need you, Must I explain
I need you oh my darling Like roses need rain.
You ask how long Ia??ll love you I’ll tell you true
Until the twelfth of never I still be loving you

Hold me close, never let me go
Hold me close, melt my heart like April snow.

I’ll love you till the blue bells forget to bloom,
I’ll love till the clover has lost it’s perfume,
I’ll love you till the poets run out of rhyme
Until the twelfth of never and that’s a long long time.
Until the twelfth of never and thata??s a long long time
and that’s a long long time

Original version of famous Shoking Blue’s song
A Tribute to Mariska Veres, Divine Singer

Have you been broken-hearted once or twice
If it’s yes how did you feel at his first lies
If it’s no you need this good advice

Never marry a Railroad man
He loves you every now and then
His heart is at his new train. No, no , no
Don’t fall in love with a Railroad man
If you do forget him if you can
You’re better off without him ah…

Have you ever been restless in your bed
And so lonely that your eyes became wet
Let me tell you then one thing mmm…
